Overview

Pyramid Foods is an App and Responsive website that can be used to find and learn how to cook healthy recipes.


  • Our goal is to help our users be able to find recipes that they will love and fit within their dietary restrictions and budget.

  • UX Designer leading the app and responsive website design from conception to delivery

  • Paper and digital wireframing, low and high-fidelity prototyping, accounting for accessibility, iterating on designs, determining information architecture, and responsive design.

Personas

I created personas and user journey maps to understand the types of users I’m designing this app for and what kinds of additional features they’d like. 


  • Brant is a 20 year old College Student from San Francisco. He never needed to cook at home but now he wants to learn. As a full time college student working a full time job, Brant is short on time and money, so he is restricted to quick and cheap recipes.


  • Frankie is a 25 year old husband and father who works as a security guard. He is on a weight loss journey and would like to learn how to cook healthy meals that fit within his keto diet. He is also forgetful and sometimes forgets to buy ingredients for recipes he wants to try out..
